€ 24,00The beautiful estate of La Braccesca covers a total area of 420 hectares and consists of two separate bodies: the historic core of the company is located in the Montepulciano area while the other, with 162 hectares of vineyards, is located at feet of the surrounding Cortona hills. It is in the first that in 1990 the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano of the Antinori Family was born, an elegant and decisive red whose maturation takes place in large oak barrels for about 12 months followed by a further one-year refinement in the bottle.
TASTING NOTES Dark ruby red, the nose has notes of ripe fruit that blend well with hints of tobacco and spices. A balsamic trace opens to a soft and balanced taste, characterized by a soft and elegant tannic texture. Notes of cherry and blackberry delineate the body up to a long and mineral closure, of impeccable persistence. PAIRINGS Throughout the meal, it goes well with rich seconds of meat, even game. Try it with a risotto with Sangiovese
